Ambry Hansen is the newest breed of guardian angel. She walks alongside the person she protects, taking a Mortal body by doing this. At Cheshire High School, she meets her Target. Uriah Sota is adorable in every sense, and Ambry can't think of anything she'd rather be doing, protecting him is the easiest thing she's ever done. But, before she's able to meet her Target, Gage Bryant snatches her attention. Tall, lean, dark, and perfect, he knows exactly what he does to her.
Protecting Uriah becomes a deal harder when more complicated things surface about Gage, and Ambry must decide: protect her Target, or give into the temptations of the boy with no Mortal qualities.
