The Odd One Out by DRAPED

Summer woke up one morning and felt that there was something strange about the people around her. She finds that her parents always come to her bedside in the middle of the night without a sound, watching over her with expressionless faces, only to leave at dawn. Everyone around here looks like they are wearing a mask, whether they are crying or laughing, there is an unspeakable weirdness on their faces. The memories that have disappeared from her mind, the mysterious blood-coloured messages in her diary, the scary ghostly face on the window... A stranger covered in blood came to the door that day. "This is no place for the living, come with me and leave before it's too late..." Should she believe him?

And most importantly Will she survive? _____________________________________________ In this gruesome horror story the events take place in modern day West Virginia which is where you will meet Maria Nichole Grey: a young and lonely fifteen year old girl that is still grieving the death of her father who died in a car accident seven years ago, leaving her with her aloof mother who was almost never home to witness the strange and dangerous happenings that keep Maria in constant danger. Maria wasn't sure why or how the entity haunted her; she never played with a ouija bound and she never chanted Bloody Mary in her bathroom but on this particular day, when she was home alone, a huge terrifying Monster pounced on her from her closet and attacked her in her own room, the Monster itself was a huge, horrifying, sinister entity with startling glowing yellow eyes that seemed to stare into her soul. The Monster seems to only be interested in Maria and targets her specifically, She has no clue as to why it's haunting her, no, hunting her, but she's determined to find out and put a stop to it before it can send the grim reaper her way. (Mature for gore & violence) (Word count around 60,000) (Also this was one of my first stories that I've written, I hope you like it! ♥︎) (Also this is in serious need of a rewrite which I hope to do later in the future ♥︎)

She reads out into a microphone "The human soul name bliss, female, age 24, death unknown, and sin unknown." She pauses and looks at me then puts down my paper and speaks to the crowd "She doesn't remember anything about being alive so she is an oddity and a collectible. Shall we start the biding at 10000 hellions". All the sudden many voices shout out some low deep voices some high voices and some don't even sound like voices just gurgles. The woman who read my paper seems to be able to keep track and calls out the highest bidder. "Do I hear 65000?" Less voices shootout but they're still too many that I can't pick out. I'm being sold? Read to find out more. This is a romance supernatural book of my own making, its mine by copy right, all rights reserved! I also respond to almost all comments! WARNING : This book has mature themes, strong language, sex scenes, pain, torture and spelling/grammar mistakes YOU have been warned! (so please, don't comment on the spelling and grammar). Once I am done the book I will go back and edit (eventually). You DON'T have to read the first book it's a completely different story just in the same word (of my creation) This is (king of) a sequel to The Ðevil's Mate but you DON'T have to read the first book to know whats going on. As a child you always fear the monster under your bed or in your closet. Maybe you watched a scary movie or were told a horror story to make you believe something was under there. You jump onto your bed and jerk your limbs away from the edge or always shut your closet door. Then you hide under the covers in hopes that they don't get to you. As you grow older you realize the invisible monster under your bed is just that, invisible. Its not that they don't exist, it's just that you don't see them. You write off the bumps in the night as the wind or shifting floorboards but they're lies. Little white lies you tell yourself so you can sleep at night. Well I'm here to tell you that whatever is causing those bumps is very real. In my case, the source doesn't hide in my closet but rather under my bed. And he's determined to drag me right there with him. Can you be friends with the monster under your bed? ** "Ask me Aria," he rasped. His voice dripped with temptation that would make the devil jealous. His lips were brushing against mine as we leaned into each other. I felt like I was drowning in his presence. The hand that was on my breast had moved to my waist, keeping me close even as I tipped towards him. His hand was still on my sex, leisurely teasing the area. "Please," I whispered. Something mixed between a growl and a purr escaped him. It vibrated deeply from his chest. I thought he would kiss me but he didn't. His lips hovered over mine before they softly traced my cheek. I gasped when his hands moved to under my arms, moving me until I straddled his thigh.

Rhea was unable to focus on anything around her but the lady. The lady was saying something but for Rhea it felt like some random lips movement. She was scared out of her wits. Then suddenly everything went dead silent. The lady vanished. The whispers and the wind stopped. But then Rhea saw light imprints of blood on the glass door under the dusty layer. ************************************ This book basically contains short horror stories of my own imagination. They may be a bit creepy and weird but that's how the book goes. These stories are short but scary. I hope you'll enjoy them. It's my first book ever so please support it.

My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. But his body tenses up when he hears it. He laughs bitterly as he turns around slowly, and his eyes cut through my camouflage easily. "There you are."
