On hold until I figure out how to approach Cars 2. Female reader as always! Doing this because I've always loved McQueen as a CHARACTER. NOT AS A CAR. Thats why I'm making him HUMAN. Chloe is a 9 year old girl in Creek of Angels Orphanage. Her parents died when she was only a baby. The crazy guard of the orphanage, Mrs Nelson, abuses Chloe for her own pleasure. Chloe does chores and stays in her room everyday. She doesn't get to have fun like the other kids. For years she has been adopted, but also brought back. The families only wanted her for slave reasons. Chloe loves to watch the Piston Cup races and watch her favorite racer, Lightning McQueen. Once she hears that he's coming to her orphanage to adopt, she prays that he'll be the one. The one who would be her hero to save her from this prison. Her prayers come true; she's adopted by McQueen. But Mrs Nelson threatened that if Chloe ever came back, she would suffer the consequences. Will Chloe love her new life? Or will she be brought back and spend the rest of her life suffering and rotting in an orphanage?Complete

While some might say his pride and flamboyance are a hindrance to his racing he only sees them as strengths, meant to propel him to the top. But after an astonishing three-way tie at the Piston Cup race, he has to push himself to prove his worth. But things don't go according to plan. A crazy night out with his friends, an old rickety town forgotten by Hell itself, and a whole bunch of legally binding repairs stops this racer in his tracks. He must find a way to get free and back into training. He has a race to get to and a spotlight to catch - he simply WILL NOT let himself be forgotten...Not like this 'almost dust' town on Highway 66. *** This story is 'human-bent' all characters have been turned human and in order to make that possible a lot of things have been altered and some scenes changed to accommodate that. You'll also find that I added some completely new scenes - some to deepen characterization and others I added just because I like them from other movies (i.e. Cars 3). *** Obviously I own none of these characters (at least not in their car form;) and most of the plot line and dialogue, all those props go to Disney & Pixar.Complete

I'm currently revising the older chapters before reposting them here to share the story with a broader audience who may not have read it before.
