Surviving Middle School

It's 2007 and you just started middle school.

The friends you had in elementary won't talk about the time you scared the teachers at camp or how you took photos with the girls in your grade jumping into the lake holding hands, making up dance routines to Fergie's fergalicious. Not even the time we all got together around the camp fire last day and played truth or dare.

No, anything that happened four months ago just doesn't exist today in October... Instead we got small talk;
"Can I borrow your eraser? Sharpener? A pencil? Got graph paper." Etc...

Sharing one class with one the most popular groups in school is kind of the most interesting thing you have going for you right now... That is if any of my old friends can put aside their nervous and agree to come for lunch. It's still early in the school year anything could happen and kids are still enrolling making them fresh meat for cliques. Cliques most often chew new recruits up then spit them out.
