Lexie Jones was the girlfriend of Tom Clarkson. She got pregnant with their first baby and thought everything would be okay.

When she went for the scan, she and Tom were told that their baby had bilateral renal agenesis. Lexie felt pressured by Tom to have an abortion.

Tom and Lexie spent two months barely speaking. It all gets too much for Lexie and she leaves. Unaware that she's pregnant.

One and a half years later, Lexie returns with a baby daughter. Tom, who has moved on, is shocked to know he has a daughter. Especially when he has a family with someone else.

Lexie begins to get close to Max Tyler causing Tom to get jealous. Tom threatens Lexie to get custody of their daughter.
