"Damien..", I whispered in his ear seductively standing on my toes to reach his ear while I take his right arm and wrap it around my lower waist.

My back connects with a hard object behind me. The sound of shattering glasses, exploding machines and light bulbs follow .A sharp high pitch sound ringing inside my ears caused by the blast. . I feel myself getting weak as my back aches from being hit. By the time am conscious enough the sound of buzzing sockets as a result of short out wires that produce bright sparks in the now dark room are all I see and hear for a moment, lights flickering simultaneously. Later, I hear someone giving orders from outside our room accompanied by indistinct voices from agitated people being guided out of the building. My eyes scan the room searching for Damien. I heave a sigh of relief to see him laying on the ground his head leaning lazily on the door. A figure moves adjacent from me.
