100 Years ago, a mysterious virus called 'The Wipeout' infected the Earth, almost completely eradicating half of the Earth's population. Only certain humans, possessing the X4 gene, were able to withstand and fight off the virus. Humans not possessing this gene, were forced underground where they had to build an entire civilisation in order to continue to survive. With the world now split in two - the Overworld and the Underworld - the Overworlders seized control, seeing themselves as the superior branch of the human race.
Roman Maxfield is from the Underworld. A Member of the USURP Rebels, he is quickly climbing his way to the top of the Revolutionary ladder. He wants to bring the Overworld down, along with all those who live there.
July Castielle is from the Overworld. The only daughter of Senetor Rex Castielle, she is given everything - including a now arranged marriage. Wanting to escape the prison her life seems to have become in favour of the life she escapes to in books, she runs away to the Underworld to seek true love and freedom
When their lives collide one night on the Underground Network, neither of them were expecting the fallout that came after. Will this pair of Star Cross'd lovers survive against all odds? Or will their Worlds come between them and separate them forever?

Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258! Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. (This is not based on The 100 but there are similarities.) (Some violent themes, but other than that is entirely clean.) Please comment if you have any questions or concerns. This is a first draft so it is definitely not perfect yet.. Thank you! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Where'd you learn to do that?" I asked about the intricate knots that he had tied so swiftly. He paused. "Jail." I glared at him in shock at what had just come out of his mouth. "Seriously?" His straight face broke into a grin. "No. Boy Scouts."
System's of Suffering by RyanMaxfield

In a future where one family holds dominion over an entire system of planets, the Soladrens live in opulence beyond imagination. But their wealth and power have bred complacency, corruption, and a dangerous detachment from the people they rule. Beneath their glittering empire, rebellion simmers in the slums of industrial worlds, fueled by anger and despair. Cressida Soladren, the calculating matriarch of the dynasty, knows the family's decay cannot be ignored-not if they wish to maintain control. Desperate for a solution, Cressida turns to an ancient philosophy: suffering as a crucible for strength. She devises a daring experiment-a "swap" to force understanding between the ruling elite and the oppressed. Lyra Soladren, her rebellious and entitled daughter, is sent to live among the Grounders, the lowest rung of society, to experience their struggles firsthand. In exchange, Dax Marent, a charismatic and ruthless rebel leader, is brought into the Soladren fold, offered the education and resources of the family he seeks to destroy. As Lyra battles to survive in a world where her family name is a curse, she discovers unexpected humanity and strength in the people she once scorned. Meanwhile, Dax navigates the decadent halls of the Soladrens' moon palace, using his newfound access to learn their weaknesses. But as rebellion ignites across the system, both Lyra and Dax find themselves questioning their roles. Can they dismantle the systems of suffering from within, or will they be consumed by the very power they seek to challenge?

Welcome to the future, written in the past. A mutant plague has rendered part of the population as zombie-like humanoids. They have a conscious mind though, but their craving for brains is a bit of an antisocial issue. Being mostly made up of impoverished individuals, it is not surprised that they got cured cheaply and lastly, despite being the main test subjects. Lochlyn is their representative. She just wanted an education beyond elementary school. A little luckier stricken part of the infected population evolved into reverents. Reverants have a feudal system over the zombies to "keep them in order". The luck may have had to do with them being upper-class when being treated. Basilica is their representative. At eighteen, she wanted body modifications, a job, and etc... as a rite of passage entering adulthood. At least that's what she was thinking. The more she was told no, the more she wondered what she could do. There are still uninfected humans left in the U.S.A. Most of them are middle-class. Katrina is their representative. She gained a family member, but lost two. She aches to find out why she can never return home again. The three eighteen-year-old females, along with their beaus, journey for truth, equality, justice, restoration, love, and freedom lead them to the same end: the capital. An ancient vampire king born in a world far older, darker, and colder than time itself. A creature carved from shadows, bloodlust, and laws written long before humans learned to speak. He steps through her century like it's nothing- breaking rules, bending time, crossing worlds- just to steal one terrified girl from her ordinary life and drag her into his. She wakes up in a place where the sky roars in crimson colors, where magic runs beneath the earth, where creatures bow at his feet and tremble at his silence. She is his captive. His forbidden fascination. His weakness in a world where men like him are not allowed to feel anything at all. She fears him. He tastes her fear like hunger. But there's something else in her scent- something soft, something pure, something he never expected: innocence. And for a monster who has lived centuries bathing in blood, her innocence is the sharpest temptation he has ever known. She wants to go home. He has no intention of returning her. Because in his world, time is power. Magic is law. And once a vampire king chooses someone, the universe bends to obey him. She didn't enter another world by accident. She was taken. Claimed. Bound to a destiny written long before her birth. And Salazar? He is ready to tear apart worlds, timelines, and kingdoms just to keep the girl who wasn't supposed to be his- but now is.
