"I could feel it. The full strength of my brother's power. I didn't know how far away he was, but he definitely wasn't nearby. And yet still, he was able to reach me. Able to trinkle into my humans thoughts and fully capture the falcon's mind with absolute power. I knew my brother was scared. That fear was what made him reach out. He didn't know what Giovanna and Leona had in for him. Or worse: he did.

Even though I knew by brother was afraid I also knew was a force to be reckoned with. And although Giovanna had him, he wasn't going down without a fight. He didn't have to tell me he would help us find him. I already knew. Any information he sent to me was important.

My brother and I shared a connection like no other. We always had. We always would. "

Part of Celeste is relieved that the people with the big guns have showed up to help, but another part of her is beginning to tear at the seams from the pressure she's endured. Although her upper most goal is to survive no matter what, when she finds out her brother has been captured by none other than Giovanna herself, she questions whether or not she can live with herself if she doesn't give it her all in trying to get him back. She knows getting him back might mean she will die trying, but maybe with the help of the powerful Unknowns that can control the elements, she can do it. However, Giovanna has a few tricks up her sleeve and the Unknowns soon will find out just how powerful she really is. Everything is going just as she wants it to. Nothing will stand in her way and nothing will escape her control...

That girl: a Black butler fanfic; COMPLETED by CucumberLionfish
26 parts Complete
Celeste Constantine is no normal girl, not even in modern day standards. It's 2020 and Celeste lives in a small apartment, with her cat Smile and her young daughter Aria. But that's not what makes Celeste different from others, what makes her different is that her father is the Greek God Apollo, and as such had inherited his powers. You'd think having powers would make her life easy, but it's been anything but easy. Her mother was a human who hated her daughter and abused her, her father would come and go and was never really there for her. As an adult life is not much better, the only thing that truly makes her happy is her daughter Aria, and watching anime; specifically Black Butler. However one day, while Celeste was watching Black Butler, the TV started to glow brighter and brighter until the whole room was enveloped in white light and she felt herself being pulled in. Her daughter called out to her, but Celeste couldn't reach her in time. When the light faded, Celeste found herself in a forest all alone. She wandered around until she found herself on the streets of London, where she eventually bumped into a tall man dressed in a butlers outfit and a young boy at his side. Celeste almost fainted from seeing them; she was face to face with characters from her favorite anime! Ciel Phantomhive offered Celeste room and board at his manor, as long as she worked for him as a maid. Knowing she needed a place to stay until she could find a way back home, Celeste accepted the offer. Taking up residence with Ciel at the Phantomhive manor, Celeste began her journey. The Butler and Ciel are confused by her strange behavior and way of speaking and even more confused by her lack of willingness to talk about herself to them. The Butler is interested and the earl is suspicious. Just who is this strange girl that they've brought into their home? And what is she hiding? * I own nothing but the OC's and plot. 22 parts Ongoing Mature
In the cursed world of Eden, every individual is born with an anomaly-an uncontrollable power that can be either a fortifiable quirk or a catastrophic force. The Source, a powerful research organization, led by a prophesied Demigod girl, has long kept dangerous anomalies in check, but it easily gets overpowered when a mysterious virus emerges, transforming humans into omnipotent, soulless entities. The selfish government and powerhouses use this chance to ostracize the prophesied girl to reside far beyond the border and destroy the Source. Decades later, Zafer joins a new uprising faction, seeking nothing but recognition in the world with no restrictions. During his quest for strength, Zafer accidentally becomes a pivotal player in bringing about a new world order, one that will alter the fate of Eden forever. As Zafer rises, he finds himself allied with- and opposed to- the most formidable humans and god-like entities the world has ever seen. Through shocking revelations, clashes with power beyond imagination, and belief-challenging events, Zafer must discover his true purpose and identity in a world on the brink of transformation. Will he become a hero, a villain, or join with the prophesied girl? Yooo everyone! This novel is a story I've been structuring for over 5 years now, and after writing from scratch 4 times, I'm finally somewhat self-confident enough to publish it! THERE ARE NO FILLER CHAPTERS! Each chapter is mostly a combination of action and World Building/ Character development, and sometimes only one of the two! I pondered a lot wile constructing the story in order to avoid repetitions in the story, so each action scene and plot twist is unique in it's own way! As mentioned, the only thing that's distorting my confidence are my writing skills, so PLEASE LEAVE A FEEDBACK. This is crucial for my improvement as I would love to turn this novel into a manga. The Darkness in the Light by djscloud
25 parts Complete
For over a hundred years, humanity has lived in fear of the monsters that roam the streets, lurking in the drains below. Women and their daughters hide, protected in their homes, while men take their sons through the world, teaching them the responsibilities of having a family to feed and dangers to avoid. No one leaves the home unless it's essential, and most of the world prefers it that way. Until one girl spends her days perched on her window seat, looking down at the world below and dreaming of a different life. Her eyes are always drawn to the dark, ominous drains in the street, the ones that often blink open to swallow and person whole. One day, that person is her little brother, snatched right in front of her from their arms of their father and gone forever. When a person is snatched, they never return, and life goes on without them. But she can't accept that. Breaking all the rules, all the things she's ever known, she braves the world outside her little townhouse and goes on a mission into the darkness to find her brother. Only, it's soon her that becomes the one lost to the drains. To survive she must rediscover her world, and in the process, rediscover herself. She will be reunited with old friends, gain new ones, find out deeper secrets about her past than she ever could have imagined, and learn that the world is even more corrupt than she always thought. *** This story contains sexist ideology, mention of cheating, some gruesome scenes, and a whole lot of monsters and darkness. It isn't overly mature... there isn't much explicit language or sexual scenes, but there is a bit of violence, so just keep that in mind... and despite all that negativity, ENJOY!

Alexandra Stan was always on the run because of what she did. She just keeps moving never stopping for no one. Will she ever stop? Will she find someone that is worth staying for? The real question is what did she do? ---------------------------- I turn around to close the door but something or more like someone is blocking me with their foot. "Hey, can you move your foot?" I ask but the person doesn't make a move to open or close the door. Suddenly I am pressed up against a wall near the door. I hate being manhandled. "Let me go! I will hurt you if you don't." I say with as much courage as I have. "Oh, Alexandra. You don't scare me one bit." A guy says in a deep voice. "Who are you? Why are you here?" I ask the two questions in my head. I then take a whiff of the air and know that this is a high ranking werewolf. Probably a Beta or Delta. "I am the one to bring the alpha what he wants. And if it wasn't obvious I am here to take you to the alpha. You are a rogue after all." The guy says behind me in a tone that makes me want to run from him but punch him at the same time. "But anyway before you get any ideas...This is going to make it easier to carry you without you struggling." He says then injects me with something that burns in my blood stream. I then fall into his arms unconscious. -------------------------------- Started book: Feb. 24, 2018 Ended book: July 19, 2019 ------------------------------- Started editing: Nov. 2, 2019 Stopped editing: ? -------------------------------

The Unordinary

102 parts Complete

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Whoever that was is like us. "Did you just see that?" I ask "You're that person my brother and I saw," He says. Oh no... Why then? "Wait! You're-" Completed just editing. (Don't be too harsh please)
