Slayer Saga

For a hundred years, dragons have been extinct. Things have changed, however, and they have returned to purge the world with fire. By fate, a young guardsman encounters the last of the defunct Dragon Slayers, a small man with an unusual sense of style who never speaks. Together, the young guard Zatch, the Slayer, and an ever-growing team of misfits and outcasts will laugh in the face of destiny and fight the returning dragons. But something more sinister awaits them at the epicenter of the conflict. Something nearly two thousand years in the making.
