His mind wonders to dark places, taking him through every dark thought he'd ever had, 'no!' He thinks, and he pushes the thoughts out of his head.

Jye Reeves is a man who is desperately trying to hold on to the good in the world, and bring happiness to it, but the world resists his attempts to help, and instead pushes him out, he is pushed and pushed until he can barely stand, finally one question remains...

the synopsis is that Harley Quinn and poison ivy, mostly Harley, want to stop the exterminators to stop killing so many of their henchmen and many other overlords' henchmen as well, so Harley buys an extra large warehouse and starts renovating it so many different overlords' henchmen can stay there til the extermination ends, however, all the overlords think it's a dumb idea, except for one, Joker, one of the most feared overlords in hell, besides Alastor of course, he sees her trying to promote it on the street and he visits the warehouse and offers to help, also so he can slowly watch Harley fail at this, and he even brings in some familiar faces to help her, but there is another threat, an overlord and many more down the line, don't worry, they're familiar faces too, also riddler is introduced later, but he can wait, anyways, have fun reading this!

The Gotham Queen
This is my own personal version of how our lovable Dr. Harleen Quinzel fell in love with the psychopathic clown known as The Joker. This will be a dark story. I mean, it is about Joker and his story isn't a pretty one. There will be dark, mature themes in this book. It is not for the faint of heart. That being said, if you are not comfortable with this, then skip those parts. I will have them marked, and I will leave subtle hint, so you get the basic gist of what happened. I do not own any of these characters or the various original stories!! I just made my own remake of it. All rights go to the DC Universe and the creators of these awesome people. Thank you for trying out this story. I'm sorry if the parts that are from Joker's POV are terrible, but I tried to get as close to his twisted personality as possible. It isn't exactly easy to predict what the most unpredictable character ever made would say and do. I mostly went off of the movie scenes for his character. A Modern Joke
As an aspiring writer, it's difficult not to look at stories you love and wonder 'What if?' I have notice how the Joker's origin in The Killing Joke and the Joker movie (2019) both stories take place during the 1980s. But what if it took place today? That's what I try to answer! In this original work I explore how a complex character like the Joker could emerge and be influence by current social problems. It's a romantic, and specially mysterious short story that I wish one day could help me make it to DC as a comic book writer, and if I don't, at least I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it!
