The heroes of TAW have managed to restore Hiccup and Toothless to their proper world. But now, another challenge awaits.
Instead of going home, the friends find themselves in another world - one full of mythology, ancient gods, and a whole lot of pretty sarcastic demigods. 
With a new threat rising (that's actually older than civilization), and an imposing war between two sides of history, Winter knows she must make a choice; does she settle down with her new demigod family, or does she lead her friends down the path of the Son of the Sea?

Finally, there was the Giant War, which almost destroyed Camp Half-Blood. The Greeks of Camp Half-Blood and the Romans of Camp Jupiter put aside their differences at the last second to overcome Gaea and her giant sons, thanks to the seven of the prophecy: Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Piper McLean, Leo Valdez, Jason Grace, Frank Zhang, and Hazel Levesque. Needless to say, New York has had its fair share of battles. But something worse is coming. Far more worse than the three battles put together. In Tartarus, Kronos and Gaea are stirring. Loki is rising. Their goal is to crush the two camps, destroy Mt. Olympus, take over Earth, and tear Asgard down. Basically, they want revenge. But with a little help from the gods and SHIELD, the Avengers and the Seven might just be able to stop them. When Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D, sees Percy's file, labeling him a possible terrorist, as well as 'very powerful', Fury takes interest in him. Ariana soon discovers the reason behind Zeus' hatred for her, and the key to making peace with him. Zeus has blamed Ariana for his daughters disappearance and demands the return of both his daughter and his dagger within one week. Ariana has just turned sixteen when her quest is thrust upon her. She accepts her quest, taking Jake, Brendon, and Piper along with her. They travel to Spain where they meet the mysterious son of Hermes who is more interested in lying to them than he is in helping them with their quest. Facing more obstacles and monsters, Ariana soom discovers an entirely new threat, one even worse than Dr. Holt and who may have been behind Dr. Holt's madness. They get betrayed yet again, but Ariana can only take so much before she finds out everything. She also has the tendency to disrupt peoples plans. Join Ariana, Jake, and Brendon on their next adventure and you will soon discover that things aren't always what they seem.
