After the events that took place in Volume 2, things seem to be going well for Beacon and his students, the Vytal festival has begun and a great tournament is coming up with the participation of students from different schools.
Axel's relationship with Ruby was getting better and they enjoyed each other's company, and the same could be said about Weiss and Tadeo, while the quiet Gabriel began to be a little more sociable with the ATAR and RWBY Teams, everything seemed to go well, nothing could go wrong ... or could it?....
