Carson Bridges is a half-asian half-white girl living in Brooklyn. At the same time, Carson is a serious runner and navigates her friendships with two close friends of hers, the beautiful goddess-like Xanthe, and the mature, driven, somewhat enigmatic Ty. Carson has always liked Ty just a little bit more than a friend. As she progresses through the adventures of high school and then the 2016 election hits, will she find herself, or will she drown within the mystery of her world?

He looks out beyond the edge and I can't seem to pull my eyes away from him. He smiles and speaks, but I can't hear anything he says. Even so, the buzzing seems to grow quieter and quieter till it's just silence all around myself and him.
