Super Smash Bros.: an opportunity for Nintendo's brightest and best to gather, share information and adventures, and test their skills against each other. With a growing roster and reputation, the fighting group has quickly become one of the company's most popular series.

Ness, a friendly kid from a small town in Eagleland, has been a member of the Super Smash Bros. since their founding in 1999, but he's always been... estranged. With so few Western fans knowing of his game and more recent titles being invited every year, it's been difficult to make friends. He's not really looking forward to another lonely year.

Lucas, a shy boy from Nowhere, didn't want to join the Super Smash Bros. at all. He's still trying to cope with the grief and pain of losing family and his home - leaving his father and friends is the last thing on his mind. But now he's found himself as a brand-new member in a crowded place surrounded by people who don't understand his psychic abilities. What's he to do?

Thinking his series had ended decades ago, Ness is astonished to discover all kinds of secrets about this new boy, including how Lucas can speak English and what burdens he carries from his life. They find that while alone they are strong, together they are unstoppable.
