Bianca Hudson suffers from insecurity, as do most girls her age. She had never been loved, up until ninth grade, when she met the boy she thought she would spend the rest of her life with, William Chambert. But when Will leaves her, amidst a startling confession, all the confidence Bianca built up is gone, and she's back at square one: sad, lonely, depressed. Her parents try to cheer her up by taking the family out for a cruise in the Bahamas. Out there she is faced with a choice: die or jump.
The cruise made her forget about Will... but not in the way she imagined.
