In the year 2079, a genetic mutation has lead 45% of the human population to develop new inhuman abilities and skills; these people are known as Alters. But what happens if that genetic mutation is forced, created with intent and not with nature? You get Six. Six is an 18 year old boy, born and created in a government test lab - an experiment to see if these new genetic limits could be increased. Raised in secret by a government employee, Six lived almost solely in seclusion - only fully emerging into society at the age of 18 when he joined the Imperial Academy, 3 years later than other Alters of his age. Even then, his identity was a complete secret; he was only told what he was allowed to know. To the world, Six didn't exist... until now. Until... they came.

Two opposite sides come face to face, forcing each other to reconsider their version of the truth. *** A minority of the world's population carries a genetic modification. They are called deviants and some develop an ability by the age of seven. In the United States of America, deviants and humans fought each other in the Great War, which ended when the deviants lost. Fifteen years later, everyone lives finally in peace. But when an assassination takes place, it sets in motion several events that put Emily Roberts, the poster child of deviant integration, face to face with Rachel Moore, the leader of the terrorist group for the liberation of deviants. What is the truth and is it worth finding it out? Warning: depiction of trauma / violence / abuse.
