Kotsu is and earth pony who is talented in magic tricks, but her specialty are card tricks. Despite being able to make your shoes end up on your ears, Kotsu is continuously mocked and beaten by her peers, not to mention neglected by her parents. Her fellow classmates always tell her to take her dumb tricks and join a circus. So she does. But was it the right choice? After signing a contract that unknowingly made her sell her body and name to the owners (a group who worked as the clowns) of a small traveling circus, "Jokers Card" she goes through trauma unlike any other. What will happen to Kotsu, will she escape, or will her insanity leave her, making her no better then the clowns?

Class 1-A just moved into the dorms and had a competition. The idea had been suggested by Asui, known by most of her class as Tsu, to get her spirits up. She had tried to get her classmates to not go against the law and save a kidnapped friend, but they did it anyway and that made her feel worthless.
