A while ago, my friends and I were obsessed with the book 'The Outsiders' by S. E. Hinton, charmed by the characters, and above all else, adored the idea of being a part of that universe. And, as all "fangirls/boys/what-have-you" do, we wrote fanfiction and self-insert stories of us with our favorite characters.
It has been nearly 4 or 5 years since I've written those or even looked at the book or movie, but recently (the beginning of April, 2019) I caught myself watching the cinematic version of The Outsiders with my dear friend Alex and wanted to write another self-insert with my friends and I.
Sadly - or thankfully - I had deleted my previous works so I cannot look back at or compare my atrocious writing to my, hopefully, more refined and clean style of writing as a Junior, almost Senior in high school compared to my 7th almost 8th grade self. However, I hope I can do my past self some justice with this work, but I'll leave that to Alex to judge ;)
Anywho! Get on in here and read!
All respective characters belong to S.E Hinton
