No one remembers when the feud started, but everyone in Corn Fitter County knows anytime a Monroe and a Scott meet only one walks away alive. Dustin Monroe was one of the lucky ones. As soon as he could he got out and joined the Marines. His identical twin Duke was not so lucky. Duke stayed in Corn Fritter County and fell in love with the Sheriff's niece, Clementine Scott, something a Monroe should never do. Duke paid the price though, and died in a cabin fire or at least that's what the Sheriff's report said. Dustin comes back to say his final goodbyes to his brother, but finds Clementine tearful, beaten, and pregnant with Duke's child. With the help of an out of towner who married onto the feud, there could be a way for Dustin to help Clementine and her baby and not get all three of them killed in the process.
