Ariel Mercer was a teenager with her whole perfect life laid out in front of her, but every thing changes when she meets an original vampire. When Niklaus Mikaelson came into her life, it turned upside down. After witnessing something Klaus did not want the police to find out about, he tries to compel her to forget. The next day she sees him and it is very obvious that his compulsion did not work. So He decides to take Ariel home with him, and against her will she goes. After Klaus contacts a witch, she tells them what Ariel's deal is, but not the whole truth. To protect Ariel, the witch tell her not to tell him the truth, but what happens when the truth comes out? When sparks fly between these two unlikely people, a love triangle and a major surprise comes with it.
