Alestra Vos brought his body back to the Tower, cradled in her arms and covered in his cloak like all fallen Hunters. In her pocket was the meticulously gathered pieces of Sundance, in a little plastic bag. She would be interred with her Guardian, beside him in death as she was in life.

Mourning privately, in the belly of the Tower, she sat beside the cloaked form of her friend as he lay in state. Candlelight was her only witness as she whispered the promise she had made before Ikora, before Zavala.
