A Mending Love

This story is about a teenage girl, Mia Smith, who struggles with anxiety and depression. She has tried many ways to fix it but has also done things that made it worse, such as self harm, and attempted suicide. However she hears from her best friend, Kenzie Johnson that she should try Horse therapy. At first she is quite skeptical of it and thinks it won't help but after a month she tries it. She meets a horse who was previously abused and was very skittish and untrusting of humans who was on its way to the slaughter house before he was saved by Lucky Hooves Ranch. This horses name is Sergeant. Sergeant almost immediately allows Mia to approach and pet him though he won't let anyone else. Will Mia and Sergeant be able to help each other?
