I have dreams almost every night. Most of my dreams are oddly weird to kind of fascinating or completely scary. I want to write them down when I first wake up. And I wasn't sure where to put them but here we are.
Each chapter is a different dream/story.

My Dreams
Sometimes I have dreams, My memory of these dreams aren't always clear and the stories tend to be a bit jumpy, a lot of these happen because I ate ice cream before bed. NOTE all names and locations have been changed for safety purposes

(edit) I forgot to add that this started out as a confessional journal about becoming clean after a 10 year + addiction to OTC cold meds, but that was not my style of writing, I liked the material so I wanted to expand it into a novel length work featuring the journal elements. To say this work is a roller coaster would put it lightly. Although there are elements of time travel I would consider my sudden transitions reality travel. I use actual experience and dreams as a foundation, then toss in some fourth wall breaking narratives (meta-fiction), with a sprinkling of facts and quotations from songs and factual articles. It tends to be written similarly to an essay sans the boring. I have been influenced strongly by Vonnegut and W. S. Burroughs , and a wide variety of album rock, and that bleeds through. The tags dystopian and dark humor describe the whole piece best but there is a lot of genre jumping. I've done a good deal of research, not just for factual things but for the type of writing I do. Although not technically fan fiction, there is a nod to Final Fantasy games. The cover photo is a shared copyright, Brian Barbour took the photo, I added treatments.Complete

I had this idea last night after a few drinks, a pounding headache, and an excessive amount of throat lozenges. In order to inspire me to write more often than I currently do, I am planning to write a new post every day and publish it, allowing me to rant about whatever is on my mind. Anything goes with this story. Maybe I will talk about something deep and metaphysical about the meaning of human existence, or rant about why my life sucks and how I prefer iced tea over hot tea. Anything goes. This is just an inspiration to allow me to write SOMETHING every single day of the year. Hopefully I can keep up.... If I end up deleting this story, I guess you'll know that I failed. Nightmares
Every chapter is a standalone tale about different horrible (or friendly?) beings and they are inspired by my nightmares. if my imagination can be reality
I was a regular factory worker, completely bored with work and with life. I got through these days relying on my imagination and lots of porn to keep life interesting. I had no idea how interesting it could truly get with extremely hot and sexual girls appearing out of thin air, though it was a bonus they were not normal.
