Princess Raine struggles to search for answers to the mysterious assassin. In her kingdom's time of weakness and fear, her father plans to marry her to a wealthy prince, who wants nothing more than a pretty doll to follow him.

But on a quiet night in the depths of the kingdom, she discovers herself on the edge of revealing the secret of the Crow.

Instead, Raine finds Grey, a handsome thief, and Lukas, a rebellious detective.

She finds both of them hanging by their ankles... over a pit of fire.

Chaos, desperation, hate, and betrayal... but could romance bloom among the agony?

A hooded figure, the hooded figure, stood on the window sill. I didn't even hear him open it. I gasped and stumbled backward, trying to find something to throw at him. I throw a book, but he swipes it away and presses on. I crumple on the floor, trying to get my bearings. Then, I reach under the bed and fumble for my satchel. Once again, I wield my knife then point it at the hooded figure.

"Greetings, Princess Raine." The figure cooed. The voice was male and familiar. He offered his gloved hand. "Would you like to come away with me?"

           Wait.
           Did he...
           Did the Crow just...
