"So you CAN see me..." he started, stepping from the darkness of my room, "and judging by that expression, you can hear me too."

He moved briskly in my direction, as if he was floating, "then my dear..."

I moved away, the coldness of the wall pressing against my back. 

Looming over me, he grinned. 

He leaned in, his breath brushing against my cheek. Lowering himself, he whispered into my ear, "can you feel me too?"

A chill ran down my spine. My heart fluttered at each inkling of his breath caressing my flaming skin.
