This novel is a collaboration between kafkasparasol (Lucas) and myself. We each write a chapter for our characters. Odd numbered chapters are written by Lucas. Even numbered chapters are written by me. This story spurred from and was inspired by many great teen novels and wonderful novelists. Lucas had originally come up with idea to write a story on self-exploration, and how the experiences in our lives affect how or how we don't see ourselves. He also wanted to work heavily with symbolism; thus, he recommend any reader to take his or her time in absorbing the piece. However, he asks that you do not over-analyze anything, or stick to closely to the idea that everything in the story is profoundly meaningful. We know many authors never ask this of their readers, but I guess we'll start something now, haha. Let this be an emotional piece as well as a philosophical one. Lucas and I hope you enjoy, and we plan to write more. Please stay updated.
