So I saw a short comic about Frisk who did a neutral run and escaped the underground, which brings chaos to the underground, but they eventually came back. I was inspired so I wanna write something about it. Btw, if I wrote something wrong, its probably cuz of my keyboard which doesnt have autocorrect and im an asian. I wont update frequently cuz im just a busy schoolgirl, so hope you guys understand and enjoy~(!!!WARNING!!!:might contain a tiny bit of Frans(yes, frisk is a girl in this story), but i havent publish till that part yet so dont worry, it might take a trillion more years till i made it to that part lol)

It's not easy to not be haunted by things in the past. Especially when those things from the past just won't stop coming back. They won't stop coming back, and they won't stop trying to steal your future. Not unless you try to fight for it. So, this is a Frisk x Sans story that I had originally written over on Deviantart. Undertale; Despair AU 《REWRITE》
What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. Credits: Undertale, obviously, created by Toby Fox and Temmie Chang. "The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). Some things will be in reference to the other books in the trilogy or "From War to Science" by Emotistic-optimistic. If you haven't, read that too. It's really good (along with its sequel). The year is 20XX. A human has fallen from the surface world! She was running from her abusive home when she made it to Mt. Ebott. However, when she looked behind her to see if she was followed, she forgot to stop running. Needless to say she tripped and fell. However, she was not caught by the ground, instead she kept falling.
