"How long?"
"When my mom died."
Words mean everything but people mean more. What would you do if you were hurt by the people who are supposed to love you the most? Easy. You get scared. You get angry. You get alone.
Now mix that together and you get three people with the same problem. One doesn't want to be scared. Another doesn't want to be angry. And the last doesn't want to be alone.

'Blood runs thicker than water' they say. Those who you share the same blood as - you know your family - are meant to be more important than those who don't. But it's ironic really, the way the saying got messed up over time until it means the complete opposite. The full saying is 'The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb'. That the blood from the bonds you share with your chosen family are thicker than the water from the covalent womb you share with your blood relations. Going from a family of 8 to 1 was a challenge for Amelia, but what happens when her 5 brothers try showing back up? Give this story a chance yk, I rate it a 10/10 so lmk if I'm biased or if it's generally that good :)
