My life is a series of thresholds that I overcome through poetry. Love, loss, pain, regret, humor, irony, word play, and even sarcasm are as much apart of my life as they are central to my poems here. I am Thresheld. UPDATE: It's been quite a few years since I started this book, and it has become rather prolific. I am currently working on organizing my poetry to make it easy to navigate. For now I've posted my recommendations and a few favorite shorts. Feel free to check out anything here there is no order you need to read in and there isn't any separation of emotional content so who knows what you might get. .Long Lost. by booodiful

When people visit you every single day, it's hard to get lonely. Unless you're a ghost. Actual it gets quite annoying. In fact it's heart breaking when the people you used to love the most look straight through you. It's even worse when they blame you for their broken heart. Because they have no idea I'm dead. Trigger Warning: Contains slightly mature themes (violent and sexual) and swearing. Nothing too detailed but briefly mentioned. Completed on February 18th 2018

She was left with a man who claimed to be her uncle that wanted to take her in. But unfortunately, he is not a 'family' he claimed himself to be. So, she has to survive. Madison has dealt with abuse and heart ache her whole life thinking that it was what she deserved. First her parents then her boyfriend. When her older brother left for college on bad terms with their parents things started to get worse. Her older brother never knew of the way their parents treated her, not even after the car accident that ended their parents' lives and left Madison scarred. Three years later and two years into an abusive relationship with her boyfriend an acceptance letter that will change Madison's entire life arrives in the mail. Madison gives her brother a call for the first time since their parent's funeral. When her brother tells her to come stay with him she never thought this one phone call would change her life forever and new friends would be waiting as well as her brother's asshole best friend.

It all changed the moment their youngest brother was brought into the world, removing their mother completely from it. You would think, life couldn't get any worse.. I mean, you already have five younger brothers who most of the time don't get along with each other, and a father who will beat you just for breathing. Well... we thought it couldn't get much worse, until our youngest pulled a knife on our father to protect one of us.. We're six brothers, who never get along, but will protect each other no matter the consequences. Even when our old man shows up at the front door after being released from prison.
