Harry finds a little girl outside of Hogwarts in his 3rd year, running and hiding from the dementors. She is taken to Madam Pomfrey where they discover she is a magical child and has been abused. Later they find out who and exactly what she is. She is enrolled into Hogwarts and Harry is determined to take care of her no matter what house they are in and no matter who tries to stop him.
