Frost always believed that the Lin Kuei has become weak, so she acted on it. Becoming allies with Triborg, Frost set out on a journey of vengeance for the Lin Kuei, and she won't let anyone stop her.

Artiko believes in Sub-Zero with all his heart, but begins to question the Grandmaster when he becomes too close with the Shirai Ryu. Artiko struggles to decide where his true loyalties lie as he slowly comes around to Frost's way of thinking.

Sub-Zero reformed the Lin Kuei, and now dedicates them to Earthrealm's defence. When his dead brother is allegedly spotted, Sub-Zero embarks on a journey with Scorpion to find him. Sub-Zero's departure sets off a chain of unfortunate events.
