18-year-old Joy is smart, beautiful and always the talk of the crowd. But that's because of her peculiarity. She's known to be friends with her childhood friend Mara. They know each other's quirks and how one knows how to make the other smile with just a toothpick. Kurt was the man of the crowd. He's the president of the SSG club. He has a charming smile that everyone adores. Students and teachers love him so much and so does he. He's like the definition of sweet and crisp orange. Too orangey. Kurt discovers Joy's quirks and is not happy with it. She wants to keep her reputation clean and issueless. Joy discovers Kurt's quirks and feels nothing about it. He sort of like that Joy knows it because everyone knows it. He likes it that way. Mara feels uncomfortable with the two together. She's not ready for this.
