Normal. A very plain word with many different meanings. For Red Monroe, normal means living a simple life with her grandmother, taking pictures, and laughing with her friends. But one day, an attack at her school changes all that. Red is thrust into a world of werewolves, angels, gods, and goddesses, learning very quickly that she plays an important part in all of it. Red is wanted by an entire society for her head, but she refuses to let them beat her in the impending war. After all, the girl isn't so normal anymore.

One year, during a very frightening encounter with a wolf, her cape is ripped and the magic leaves the garment forever. In order to re-enchant the cape, Phoenix must provide a sample of the blood of the thing she fears the most. In this case, Phoenix's greatest fear was a specific wolf that is believed to be the biggest of them all. The very essence of the term Big Bad Wolf. On her quest, Phoenix learns to face her fears. Her gran made it for her before she died from a werewolf attack. Red's first werewolf was at the age of fifteen when gran died and she has been killing ever since. But let's just go through the background details. When Red was about five, she got a red hood and a basket. She would always go from her little cottage to Gran's old home by a pathway, that was eroded with weeds and daisies, so that she could deliver her mother's famous home made jam drop biscuits. Now this is a time without any cars so it was about a half an hour's walk. Yes, Red would always hear things in the forest an turn around to see who it was. No one there. So she kept walking. The only thing is that you can never fall for a werewolf. This was going to be hard. Warning: the following chapter may contain corse language, spiritual violence and fantasy drama.
