-ABOUT TO CHANGE BASICALLY THE ENTIRE THING CAUSE ITS TRASH :)
Not good at describing but here we go.
Lumia is a normal teen, if you think magic and extreme amounts of hatred is normal. She absolutely adores the stars and the tree her dad showed her as a kid. Everything else can burn in hell, as far as she's concerned. If she believed in the normal concept of it.
Lumia has a necklace that she found, that a willing person donated to her. She's had it ever since she was kicked out of her biological mom's life, which happened to be a car doing 80 on the interstate. She's vowed revenge ever since, as any six year old would do. Hates her adopted sister that her bio mom likes more than her.
Trying to avenge herself and her father.
(Necklace not mine, found in google)

They'll start off annoyed with each other, but you know how the story goes... "Adorably sweet and a brilliant read! Jake, on the other hand, is your All-American frat boy with a killer smile. Translation: they can't stand each other.
