But yet there was something about this grubby-nosed seven year old girl, Ellie, she called herself, that he couldn't seem to shake.
Something that made his skin prickle, his hair stand on end, his eyes dart to the door and back when talking to her.
Fear isn't something to-be soldiers can harbor.
