I was use to his mean words that caused me nothing but pain. It hurts so much, but I learned to accept it because I was afraid that if I only spoke he'll hate me even more. The arranged marriage slowly deteriorated only after a year, sadly things never got better. At First it was just silence and us and in our separate areas. From time to time meals were always prepared for him by me but he never ate them. From the cooking to the cleaning all of it was taken care of for him but he never appreciated it. The insults got more gruesome and it has always haunted me.
The words soon bound me to an invisible chain called Depression. I was diagnosed after just 3 years of marriage. He never even touched me like if I was some germ. This marriage is a Failure and so was I. Too caught up in my own thoughts I fail to realize how much pain I inflicted upon myself. The bruises, the cuts, the gashes only grew more frightening until I finally couldn't stand the pain anymore. I couldn't handle all of the agony so I decide to end it even though it hurts to let him go but it was best for me. He was never aware of my suffering neither did he help the pain so why should I stay in a loveless marriage. So I asked for a divorce.
