I pause, processing what's happening before I screech like a flipping pterodactyl.

I stumble back more and fall back onto my butt with a thud and the string of lights that use to be on the wall of my room, come crashing down on me. My whole room darkens as the lights cut out. I had just made a complete and utter fool of myself.
