In 1894, the only thing on Elizabeth Bownett's mind was getting home. Snow covered streets were her enemy, she could barely see as the snow pelted her numb skin.
Get home, was all she could think.
Elizabeth had stayed out late, again, to sell the last few papers she had.
It was blur, it went by fast. The cold of the snow, the way she looked at the stars like she was pleading for help.
Make it stop.
She walked through Manhattan.
Get home. Don't tell them. Forget about it. Forget about everything that happened. No one can know.

Jack took care of Tiger as if she was his own blood she was pretty much his sister and every Newsie knew this. Tiger used a special technique to sell her papers just like every other Newsie. Tiger was a flirt and known for it, it was how she sold her papes. Yes Tiger was a flirt but she swore to herself that she wouldn't get into a relationship especially with one of the Newsies but Racetrack Higgins her best friend took that as a challenge. He wasn't so lucky this time around and passed away due to blood loss. This drove their mother into a state of insanity, forcing Davey and Les to pack up their things and leave. They now live on the streets with their fellow newsies, struggling to support themselves just like every other newsie.
