Astral is the heir to the throne on her planet Animus, but when her cousin Victoria who is second in line for the throne seeks to eliminate her. Astral is sent to a new planet, or more like an old one. Astral is sent to Earth which has not had contact with Animus for decades. She has to find out how to make it back to her planet and save her family and true love, Arthur, before it is too late. Along the way she meets new Earthen friends who try to teach her about everything she has missed about the history of Earth.
Please note that this is my senior project, so it will be rushed a bit since I have less than a year to write this. I will go back and edit the story over time.

Humanity wanting to finally bring it all to an end only finds one way to solve it. End humanity as we know it. Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. This is my first book, so it may have a few mess ups but I hope you enjoy, I have worked hard to at least get this out. She takes the opportunity to scour her birth galaxy for hints toward a mysterious trait about herself: her ability to create dimensional rifts at will. Along the way, they are joined by Ratchet, Rivet, Clank, Kit, Talwyn and others who guide them around the galaxy, sometimes sharing more than just adventure.~ So, this is a wildly canon-divergent post-RA alternate universe. For the record, I am aware Ratchet and Talwyn are canonically dating (as far as I'm aware), but for the purposes of this AU they broke up some time before Rift Apart.
