Ever since your home burned down, you had been running from something.... Something you've never been able to see other than the dark smoke, which reminded you of the smoke that surrounded your home while flames licked the walls. You never stayed in one area too long, and you rarely returned to the same spot twice. It was always easy, since you had few clothes to your name, rarely keeping more than two pairs of clothes, a jacket, and anything thing you don't need.
In your new temporary home, as you left your part-time job, you need money like the next person, you felt as though something was watching you. You decided to 'disappear' again, but come back once you felt safe again. Grabbing everything you owned and some snacks, you set off to hide.
But you didn't get far...

I actually really hate this. Read if you wanna, I guess. It's bad though. *completed* I was frozen when the pop of the gun rang throughout the house. I wanted to close my eyes, I wanted to look away, but I couldn't. The man fell to his knees and flopped on his side, a dark red liquid quickly falling from a small hole in his head. Mark, a cut under his eye and a busted lip, looked at me full of fear and worry, immediately spotting what was wrong. Before he could say anything, the pistol fell from my hands and onto the floor, myself falling with it. Now on the floor, I wanted to cry, I wanted to scream, but nothing would come out. Over my struggle, I heard Mark grunt and a few shaky footsteps before I felt my head being propped up on something- or someone -and all I could see was Mark staring down at me in both emotional and physical pain. ~~~ Y/n never would've thought one person could twist her life into a mess. First it was playful flirting, but changes dramatically when some unwanted information floods the air.
