This story is about a japanese girl who was diagnosed with an incurable degenerative disease at 17, but was able to continue her life until her death at the age of 27. Kaori Miyu Kawamoto is an ordinary girl and a 4th year highschool at Minami Academy. As time passes by, unusual things starts happening to her. She begins falling down often and walking strangely. Her mother, Asumi, takes Kaori to see the doctor and he informed Asumi that Kaori has Spinocerebeller Degeneration; a rare disease where the cerebellum gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot, walk, speak write, eat and finally will become bedridden. A cruel disease as it does not affect the mind. How will Kaori react when told about her disease ? And how will she going to live from now on ? "Just being alive is such a wonderful thing."- Kaori
