It had been 6 years since the crazy weirdmageddon thing went down, and eventually everyone was back to their normal life, occasionally fighting odd new creatures that Dipper would write into his journal. Then one day, everything turned upside down. No literally, everything was upside down for a few minutes. This happened while Dipper was sitting in the woods studying his journal, which meant he was holding on to a tree for dear life. When it became right side up again, Dipper noticed a tall figure in the shadows of the trees, laughing, and then his blood turned cold when he heard a voice he hadn't heard for 6 years.
