"Ares, whatever you're thinking, stop it."

"Ares."

"No."

"Ares, do not make me-" He cut her off with a kiss.

"Calm down, starry. It'll be over soon." Ares smirked and tugged her towards the huge doors.

"Ares, no-!" Too late.

Ares threw the doors open. "Hey, dad! I brought home my girlfriend!"

Zeus glared at Asteria.

Asteria, goddess of the stars, lived on a secluded island away from Mount Olympus. On this island, she watched over the other Greek gods' followers, helping them whenever she could, but in secret.

The truth was, Asteria was an accident. She was the result of another of Zeus' many affairs, and he had reluctantly given her the position of goddess of the stars, on the condition that she was to never be heard of.

Asteria had lived peacefully on her island, watching the years pass. Until one day when a certain war god found her and immediately fell in love with her. Life would get a million times more exciting, especially when your and a much more widely known god's love is brought into the light.
