When sixteen-year-old Chloe loses her father, she moves in with her mother who's racist family turned her away as a baby. Chloe is left alone in her mother's mansion for two months while her mother has an acting job in Italy. Chloe's cousin, Ivar, who lives in the annex at the end of her mother's garden is trusted to keep an eye on her, but it's only when nhe and his friends (the Knights) save her that she finds out who he really is. When humans in the next town over start getting brutally murdered they blame the pack, but it is not a wolf behind the murders and it's not just hunting the humans.
