And in those 5 months, Sophia is bullied by an older girl, she got adopted twice, but was brought back with bruises and cuts all over. She gets nightmares, flashbacks, and sometimes cry herself to sleep. Poor little girl, right? But one day, a happy couple decided to adopt a little girl just under the age of 12. When they saw Sophia, they knew that she was the one. Although Sophia is shy, sometimes scared of the opposite gender, and has a fear of boxes, this couple is determined to show Sophia that the world has a bright and happy side. It's gonna be hard though. Will they be able to show Sophia what happiness really is? Will she find out who her real parents were? Will she have a happily ever after? He's also been given the name "Mute" since nobody ever heard him talk. At one point, he is forced to talk, and things only get worse.

I had no idea why I could do these things but I could. Other kids in the orphanage became scared of me, mostly cause I couldn't control my powers. Even the headmistress of the orphanage was afraid. At the time however I had no idea why I couldn't play with the other kids, so it made me sad. Eventually I was given my own room, I would write and draw and I had asked the headmistress to teach me how to read and she did. I stayed till I was ten, then I ran. I knew no one would follow me, so I just ran. (part of the story. Samantha, John, and Thomas are the only original characters in this story. So far. All others belong to Marvel.)
