What if Wei Ying was already in love with Lan Zhan? What if Wei Ying wrote Lan Zahn letters? How far will another go to prove innocence? What truly happened is only revealed in a ritual called Sympathy as to whether or not Wei Ying is innocent or a monster.
Everything is canon until right after Wei Ying died. Everything following is changed. Also, characters come to certain realizations and might be out of character.
The pic isn't mine. Whoever is the author, I'll credit their work when they step forward.
First time posting on Wattpad and a fanfic at that. lol
May contain triggers for some, not sure. Also, writing on my phone to paste and copy in Wattpad. The paragraphs might not line up correctly and the letters are supposed to be in bold font. Sorry

"Obsession Isn't Love - It's a Curse"
I once loved him. The quiet, noble Lan Zhan. The man who held my hand like I was something fragile. Sacred. Now he touches me like I'm a possession. His hands burn. His words bleed. His silence screams. He is not the man I loved. He is what love became... when it lost its soul. He says I'm his. Not in poetry. Not in passion. But in chains. He whispers he would burn for me. But I see it in his eyes: He already has. And now he wants to set me on fire too. There's nowhere left to run. Because he doesn't want my love. He wants my surrender. My ruin. My everything. "You'll never leave me again, Wei Ying," he says, brushing blood from my lips with a kiss. And I believe him. Because monsters don't lie. They just love wrong. **Lan Wangji was once silent, noble, pure. Now? He is silence twisted into madness. Obsession wrapped in beauty. A fallen god with only one prayer-Wei Ying. He burned his soul to the seal. Gave up sanity for a single purpose: to have Wei Ying. Not to love him... but to own him. To break him, bind him, and keep him. He doesn't want Wei Ying's heart. He wants his screams, his surrender, his soul-chained to him for eternity. And if Wei Ying runs? Wangji smiles. Because every escape is just another chance to hunt him again. "You're mine, Wei Ying. Even if I have to destroy the world to make it true This is a Boys' Love story-twisted, intense, and far from sweet. Love here isn't tender. It's dangerous. Obsessive. Cursed. This chapter contains graphic descriptions of body horror, mental instability, inhuman transformations, and ritualistic scenes. It may be disturbing or emotionally intense for some readers. Read at your own risk. Warning: The darkness isn't just in the room-it's inside them. If you're not ready to face what crawls in the dark, you may want to turn back now. But if you're brave-or foolish- So, Welcome to my Story Your nightmares have been warned.Complete
