Eighteen and fresh out of high school, Olivia Henderson is a wildly imaginative, dorky girl without many friends. At least that's what she's comes to realize as she crosses the days left of summer on her calendar.

Having done nothing spontaneous or remotely rebellious in all the years she's been alive, she decides to secretly hijack Liam Reed-- aka the main lead's-- car. And thus she finds herself on an adventure with practical strangers, gallivanting across the country of America.

Come along with her as she becomes a willing hostage, forces friendships and follows trouble wherever it goes.

Comedy, romance, but mostly comedy~

Featured on @Romance, @Ambassadors, and @humor, @ChickLit Cover art by the fabulous @LNRoberts1. It's 2019 and university student, Olivia O'Shea, doesn't possess the luck of the Irish as her name might suggest. Instead, she's feeling like she might just be the unluckiest girl on the planet. Her high school sweetheart, Daniel Burns, whom she continued to date in college, was found with his fingers, and a few other more salacious body parts in someone else's cookie jar. Now it's summer vacation and Olivia is back in her hometown licking her wounds and trying to forget it all. At their old high school's international food festival, Olivia runs into Daniel with his new girlfriend, and a storm is definitely brewing. But this storm is a real one with thunder, lightning and rain, and Olivia, caught out in the open, is suddenly struck by lightning. She wakes up in the high school infirmary only to find that she's been transported back to high school with the chance to do it all over again. Olivia is determined to ditch Daniel, in spite of his stubborn advances, and instead tries to rekindle an old flame with the shy introverted Jack Garcia, with whom she'd shared one very spectacular kiss back in high school. As Olivia attempts to pursue Jack, Daniel keeps getting in the way and frustrating her plans. Can she really change her future for the better, or is history only meant to repeat itself? If you liked the iconic 1980s rom-com Peggy Sue Got Married, then you'll love this modern retelling of the classic, time-travel, do-over, second chance at love.

When Ella Jones' twenty-first birthday ends with a bang - literally - she never imagined it would be with her best friend since freshman year, Ryan Owen. A year later, after their so called "mistake", they're still best friends and about to rock their Senior year at the University of San Francisco. But when Ryan returns from spending a summer in Australia and brings back a friend, Liam George, who takes an immediate liking to Ella, Ryan starts to question the Aussie's intentions with his best friend. The trouble is, Ryan has a girlfriend of his own, and Ella and Ryan swore they would never cross that line again - until they do. They try not to let their second slip up affect their friendship, but when Spring Break forces them to vacation under the same roof; and Ryan's ex walks back into his life, Ella is shocked by a fierce stab of possessiveness. And when Ella continues to see Liam, Ryan finds himself plagued by unfamiliar jealousy. With their friendship strained for the first time, Ella and Ryan face an alarming truth: Maybe they can't be just friends. Maybe they are falling faster than expected. And maybe, deep down, they want to.
