Have you ever wondered what goes on inside of the mind of a truly broken soul? The mind of a person with severe mental disorders. The one who smiles on the outside but is really dying within. The one that always appears happy. The person that you'd never guess was suffering every single day. Have you ever questioned what could break a person so badly? Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words. -Robert Frost This is my own collection of thoughts. My own stories, through the deepest sorrow and highest peaks of happiness I've had in my rather brief life, and some that others may also be able to relate to. Sometimes, words are insufficient. Sometimes, they're too accurate to emotionally bear. Sometimes, they're what provokes the deepest part of your soul. You be the judge on how poetry affects you. You read; I just tell the stories. #thecosmicawards2018

The depths of my mind and dialogue of it all. My thoughts. My fakeness. My lies. My confessions. My Raw mental conversations. My weakness. My complicated life. The nonsense that creeps up in my head when I'm thinking. There is no need to understand. There is no need to feel pity. This is Thursday.

I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. This is my advice to you based off of my life experiences. Along with pieces of life experience advice I've included poetry and spoken word pieces from different perspectives and I try to break down life into beautiful words that people can relate to and see that we all struggle- you're not alone and we are each so valuable.

My life is a series of thresholds that I overcome through poetry. Love, loss, pain, regret, humor, irony, word play, and even sarcasm are as much apart of my life as they are central to my poems here. I am Thresheld. UPDATE: It's been quite a few years since I started this book, and it has become rather prolific. I am currently working on organizing my poetry to make it easy to navigate. For now I've posted my recommendations and a few favorite shorts. Feel free to check out anything here there is no order you need to read in and there isn't any separation of emotional content so who knows what you might get. many people say eyes are window to the soul , but so are words. this are short and simple poems expressing emotions from the soul. from love to hate to happiness and sadness, confusion and calmness. Anything and everything is what these poems are about.

Poetry is a beautiful way for self-expression, allowing me to share my thoughts and emotions in a powerful and captivating way. It is an art form that allows me to explore the depth of my feelings, and to communicate them to others in a way that is both moving and memorable. Whether through rhyme or metaphor, poetry offers a unique and endlessly rewarding way to explore the human experience.

This is a personal documentation through poetry. I am learning to look inward now, give myself love when I least want to. I do not live to love others, I live to love myself. I will find and create what is enough for me, and you will learn to let it be enough for you. 2022
