Jim Gordon, Captain of the GCPD, has made it his own personal mission to clean up the city of Gotham. He comes from a long line of defenders, his father having previously been District Attorney for the city of Gotham.
Charlotte Gordon, the cousin of Jim and daughter of Frank Gordon, has made it her personal mission to defend her clients. She just graduated from Metropolis School of Law, studying Intellectual Property Law. She's returned to Gotham, much to her father's dismay, to defend her new client. A mysterious man that goes by the name of Xander Wilde.
