Number eight was different to her other siblings, her birth was unknown to Reginald Hargreeves, she wasn't adopted and brought up under his strict rules nor was she taught how to fight or save the world. She had a family; she was given a name and a home.
Bryony Williams lived an ordinary life, she went to school, had friends and relationships now and again just like any other ordinary teen would. That was till the night she discovered her powers, the night she finally met Reginald Hargreeves and the night her whole life turned upside down.

But when Five disappeared, he took half of her soul with him. She was never the same. Everything changed for her and half of her body got empty. The only thing that kept Five going when he was gone was the thought of seeing Maddie again.
