The monsters in me is a story about a Teen who is named Shadow who lives in a world where powers exist. Pls like this story. It is the first one I've made so pls tell me any feedback you have to try and make the story better. Also this story as the disclaimer says has violence. I saw this WP on Reddit, and I had a lightbulb moment. Since the age of 14, you've noticed a monster stalking you. A few years later, you've noticed it seems very protective over you and will go through extreme measures to protect you. It's usually friendly, but it seems threatening when your childhood friend is around. I changed "Monster" to a shadow, but is it a shadow really? Since a young teen, Damien has always noticed s͟o͟m͟e͟t͟h͟i͟n͟ ͟g, that something is a figure in the corner of his eyes. He thought he was just going crazy, till one day it appears before him. So this is the first story I've written, so please go easy on me with criticisms because I'm kind of terrified about this. I'm probably going to end up changing the title at some point when I'm certain of how the story is going to go. It's not until one night at a masked party on campus, where Verena finds herself in an unexpected situation that she likes more than she's willing to admit, that everything changes. When she finds out who the person behind the mask is that made all her darkest desires come true, she's furious and conflicted by all her emotions. Verena is left fighting her desires and her hatred. Maria wasn't sure why or how the entity haunted her; she never played with a ouija bound and she never chanted Bloody Mary in her bathroom but on this particular day, when she was home alone, a huge terrifying Monster pounced on her from her closet and attacked her in her own room, the Monster itself was a huge, horrifying, sinister entity with startling glowing yellow eyes that seemed to stare into her soul. The Monster seems to only be interested in Maria and targets her specifically, She has no clue as to why it's haunting her, no, hunting her, but she's determined to find out and put a stop to it before it can send the grim reaper her way.
